PONSONBY MARKET DAY:
Saturday 20th March: 11am to 3pm
Ponsonby Market Day is upon us once again - Saturday 20th March. Loads to see and be seen. 11am to 3pm is the official time slot for street activity and entertainment; so businesses are still open from normal times for the early birds and bargain hunters, and of course Ponsonby does not siesta at 3pm, its just starting to warm up! Get involved and celebrate the strip.
Bands for your entertainment include AK Samba, The Rio Trio, Easy, French Toast, Lewis McCullum, Matecito Latin Band, Mojave, Montaca, Lynfield College Jazz Band, Nick Jones, One More Dollar, Queen City Big Band, Radioglo, The Devine Trio, The Nukes, Zoh Zoh, St Marys Choir, Kindred and more.
Also for the children we have Face Painting from The Magic Brush, Global Foolishness will entertain with A Mad Hatters Tea Party and Charles Dolbell will delight the children with Baloon Sculpting.
